2nd Annual

Dearborn County Turns Hazzard County Event

What is happening this Year?

The 2nd Annual Dearborn County Turns Hazzard County Event, Benefitfor C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome and Autism Awareness!!

This year’s event will be held at Dearborn County Fairgrounds on August 7th from 4pm to 10pm, and on August 8th from 8am to 6pm. There will be Music, Games, Contests, a car show and swap meet, a meet and greet with the stars of the TV show "The Dukes of Hazzard, including Catherine “Daisy Duke” Bach, Sonny “Enos” Shroyer, Don Pedro “Sheriff Little” Colley, Byron “Coy Duke” Cherry, Christopher “Jeb Stewart Duke” Hensel, lead show mechanic, Tom Sarmento, as well as Dawn "Mary Ann" Wells from “Gilligan's Island”, Lindsay "Maybelle Tillman" Bloom and a few surprise guests. These are the real stars, not fakes or imposters! This event will be fun for the young and the young at heart! Enjoy the weekend with family.
Our first event was for Madison Kremer, daughter of Meloni Smith and Mel Kremer. Madison is 13, and has had 23 surgeries in her short life, had a feeding tube till she was 9, and communicates through American Sign Language. She is your typical teenage girl, wanting her nails done, and enjoying being girly. Our goal last year was to get Madison’s lifetime membership to the C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome Foundation. This year, we would love to make a large donation to both the C.H.A.R.G.E. Syndrome Foundation and to Autism Awareness.

We are working on this year’s event to be bigger and better than ever! Stay tuned often for updates.
